    It's why the DVDs are still welcome here !!! ;)
  2. F @ Freddy Pharkas:
    Thank you for dealing with the trouble with such haste, @Onkyo! You're the best! ^^
    And yes, while I prefer the standard Blu-ray, DVDs are always welcome! So many movies still only on there.
  3. W @ Walnut:
    @Onkyo Just want to say I really appreciated a lot the big batch of 4K you uploaded the other day, with great films such as The Hot Spot (such a gorgeous 4K transfer! Wow!). Thanks again! :) As you say, splitting it through your different accounts seems the obvious solution for next time.
  4. W @ Walnut:
    Since some of us here seem to use any opportunity to unfairly hammer their DVD obsession, despite us having had a talk on this topic recently, sorry if I repeat myself, but: as someone watching only 4K catalog titles, the only reason I joined your site and keep contributing to it are 4K (especially new releases, look how many great films we got recently: Prom Night. Spike of Bensonhurst, The Hot Spot, etc.).
  5. W @ Walnut:
    So starting to upload on a regular base dead unwatchable formats such as DVD and VHS would mean less 4K and blu-ray, and that would be a really huge minus. There are no DVD and VHS new releases, therefore no reason for a regular upload: the request department can fulfill all our needs, whatever format each of us is into, that’s why this constant hammering sounds really super weird.
  6. W @ Walnut:
    I won’t go on on that topic, I’m done with it (and have better things to do, to be honest). Looking forward for the next batch of 4K! Thanks again for all the great work @Onkyo! :)
  7. R @ RogerRabbit:
    @Walnut : I think you worry to much about 4K !
    I like 4K a lot as they are so good quality of course.
    DVDs are a way to access to things that are not available on 4K or 1080p because they will probably never go to this quality and they are a lot of things that are still only on this format !
    If you look at the DVDs threads, you will undertstand it !
    And I think it's about a very very little size of upload if compared to the size of regular 4K and 1080 that are uploaded !
  8. R @ RogerRabbit:
    @Walnut : Then, stop worrying about less UHD upload, Onkyo will never stop it as we are all looking for them too !!!
  9. Onkyo @ Onkyo:
    @Walnut, It’s not because I’m uploading DVDs that there are fewer 4K UHD releases. There are only a few 4K UHD releases each week anyway, so there really aren’t that many.
    What I’m talking about here is distributing the NZB files I create across multiple Google accounts.
  10. bulletdodger @ bulletdodger:
    Other people havind different interests / needs than you doesn't mean it's an obsession. It's practicality. If a movie isn't available on 4K or blu-ray (which must must already look like another outdated dinosaur format as well) and it's only available on DVD, there are two options: get it on DVD (now) or when it's released on 4K (unknown time, perhaps never)
  11. bulletdodger @ bulletdodger:
    There's another point as well: More DVDs doesn't mean fewer 4K uploads. 5 DVD's a day: 20 gb, which is about a quarter of a single 4K.
  12. W @ Walnut:
    @Onkyo I understood this was about distributing the files across multiple accounts. What was weird to me was that you say this, and we get a reaction bringing up the DVD topic and making it sound like this the solution. And having in mind we had a talk about the DVD topic recently, I didn't get why this was coming with a subtext of complain: you upload everything each of us requests, so there really is nothing to complain about! :)
  13. W @ Walnut:
    Anyway, let's move on. There is no drama on my side. I'm very happy with all the great flicks you upload. Thanks again! :)
  14. eViking @ eViking:
    XuanXit, Thank You and Happy Onkyo 10 Years
  15. Onkyo @ Onkyo:
    @eViking, Thank you ;)
  16. Onkyo @ Onkyo:
    Could someone download and extract this movie to check if there’s any problem with it for me?

  17. R @ RogerRabbit:
    @Onkyo : looks like there is something wrong about the PW ... I had to unzip it with manual PW ("Onkyo4k") as SABnzbd didn't achieve it automatically. It was working but still says that something went wrong about file 00009.m2ts (main movie) ... But it looks like correctly working ...
  18. F @ Freddy Pharkas:
    Didn't realize it was today, I thought it was in September!
    Anyway, happy 10th anniversary, @Onkyo! Thank you for all your hard work and this great community! ^^
  19. R @ RogerRabbit:
    I believe Real anniversary date is 3 september as the day of start member for Onkyo ...
  20. F @ Freddy Pharkas:
    Hm... now that you mention it, you're probably right... Oh well, it doesn't matter; it's always a good time to celebrate this little corner of the internet we've had for 10 years or 9 years and X days or whatever, thanks to XuanXit, hahaha! :)
  21. Onkyo @ Onkyo:
    @RogerRabbit, So you were still able to successfully extract it, right?
  22. Onkyo @ Onkyo:
    @Freddy Pharkas, @RogerRabbit,
    Looking back, the website has almost completely transformed over the past 10 years. It’s also thanks to all of you for always staying with us and contributing to the site that I’ve been able to keep this work going and continue developing it. Thank you all so much. ;)
  23. R @ RogerRabbit:
    @Onkyo : yes, I managed to unzip it and it was complete and working even if it says the password went wrong for the file 00009.m2ts
  24. Onkyo @ Onkyo:
    @RogerRabbit, Thank my friend :)
  25. S @ Sammybear:
    I just tried the nzb file at https://drive.google.com/file/d/1I5WS3xhu8fIz1ktReNFWNEba9um0dk7g/view?usp=sharing and like @Nick4k I also received a packed data checksum error in Part 35. The source media is certainly corrupt. The good news is that like almost all single errors in m2ts files, the movie plays just fine with maybe an unperceivable blip in a pixel in one frame.
